Standards
Compliance with the highest industry standards is an important part of ensuring that your documents are kept as safe as they can be.
All physical and virtual data held by us is covered under the Data Protection Act. We have attained ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 27001 Information Security Management standard, ISO 14001 Environment Management System, BS EN 15713 Secure Destruction Of Confidential Material standard, and BS 10008 for Electronic Information management. We are also accredited by the Records Management Society, Prism, and Green Achievers.
Security
We have a number of physical and electronic security and fire prevention safeguards in place to fully protect your confidential documents.
This includes well-maintained alarm systems, a fenced perimeter, internal and external CCTV, security fob systems; a secure electronic network protected by firewalls, dedicated lease lines, encrypted servers, secure domain access and password protection; fire system, extinguishers and RedCARE links to local police and fire stations. Destruction of records is also a secure and confidential process that complies with BS EN 15713:2009 Secure Destruction of Confidential Material.
Facilities
Our wholly owned freehold sites are conveniently located in London, the Midlands and Merseyside near to major transport links, allowing us to operate nationwide.
The security of our facilities is key and we undertake numerous measures, including a fob entry system, access security, visitor sign-in and escort, 24-hour patrol at all sites, to ensure total protection. In addition, when choosing the locations of our facilities, we considered the potential effects of natural disaster and are therefore situated away from any potential flood plains. Environmental
We’re dedicated to creating a business that has environmental policies at its core, from vehicle fuel consumption to planting trees for every 100 boxes stored.
Since 2005, we've been planting a tree on our own farmland for every 100 boxes we store. So far we've planted over 6,500 new native species trees. We also implement environmental policies in our day-to-day running. Our flatpack boxes have a total recycled content of up to 70%, and we recycle the waste from our confidential shredding. We also aim for low CO2 emissions and efficient fuel consumption by monitoring our fleet of vehicles with GPS and telematics technology to help run them at optimum efficiency.
