Over the past six months, we have been working with NQA, a leading UKAS-accredited certification body, to upgrade and consolidate our existing accreditations, including ISO 9001 Quality Management, BS 10008 Electronic Information Management, BS EN 15713 Secure Destruction of Confidential Material, ISO 27001 Information Security Management, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
After many months of audits, we are pleased to announce that we now have all our standards with NQA across our sites. Our final achievement in this lengthy process was to meet the widened scope of the updated ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System. This more comprehensive standard aims to better integrate the organisation’s environmental management system with the business process. As an organisation that has always been dedicated to implementing innovative and effective green policies in our business practices, we embrace any standards that help us to achieve even greater environmental performance.
It’s always a challenge to implement the changes required by new quality standards, but we do so because we recognise that it will help us to achieve a more effective system with ever-improving results for our customers.
Choosing to work with NQA to achieve our new quality standards was also a conscious decision in our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible service for our clients. NQA is accredited by UKAS, the only national body to determine the competence and integrity of organisations offering testing, calibration and certification services. By working with a UKAS-accredited organisation, we are confident that the accreditations we receive have been awarded with the utmost impartiality and integrity, a fact which, in turn, assures our clients of our commitment to quality – something we feel is very important.
